Why We Started ZentroHestia
The Indian rental market has a trust problem. Owners worry about finding reliable tenants, collecting rent on time, and maintaining their property from a distance. Tenants struggle with inflated brokerage fees, inaccurate listings, and landlords who disappear when maintenance issues arise. Brokers sit in the middle, collecting fees from both sides while offering minimal accountability.
ZentroHestia was founded to fix this broken dynamic. We started in Pune — one of India's fastest-growing rental markets — because we saw the problem firsthand. Working professionals relocating to the city's IT corridor were paying ₹15,000–₹25,000 in brokerage just for an introduction. Property owners with flats in Hinjewadi, Baner, and Kothrud were losing months of rent to vacancy because they had no structured way to find and retain quality tenants.
We built ZentroHestia as a managed rental platform — not just another listing portal.
